Netanyahu to Attend Lindsey Graham's Funeral and Meet Trump Amid Iran Tensions

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is scheduled to fly to Washington next Monday to attend the funeral of U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham and hold a meeting with President Donald Trump. This visit comes as Israel prepares for potential retaliatory fire from Iran and a possible escalation of conflict by the weekend. President Trump told Axios that he is close to making a decision and is "considering a massive attack larger than anything before." He also stated, "If I ask, Israel will join the campaign." A senior Israeli officer noted that unlike previous wars, Iran's ballistic missile systems are now ready for near-immediate launches toward Israel in a conflict scenario. The Israeli Air Force's challenge will be to quickly strike Iranian missile batteries. Meanwhile, Defense Minister Israel Katz held a security consultation with IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir, Air Force Commander Major General Omer Tishler, and other senior officials, emphasizing readiness for all scenarios and warning that if Iran attacks Israel, it will suffer a crushing blow.
