Netanyahu to Meet Trump at White House Following Senator Graham's Funeral

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will travel to Washington on Monday at the invitation of U.S. President Donald Trump. The Prime Minister's Office announced that journalists will not be allowed to join Netanyahu's flight on the Wing of Zion aircraft, but those wishing to attend the visit independently can register online.

A senior White House official recently confirmed that Netanyahu is expected to meet Trump during his U.S. visit next week, coinciding with the senator's funeral at the Capitol. However, the exact timing of the meeting had not been finalized at that time. Earlier this month, Netanyahu and Trump spoke, with Netanyahu congratulating Trump on the 250th anniversary of American independence. Netanyahu emphasized the United States as a "guarantor of global freedom" and expressed appreciation for the close ties between the two countries. Both leaders agreed to meet soon.

In related remarks, a Trump advisor told Walla News that the issue of a joint meeting involving Netanyahu and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas did not come up during recent conversations. The advisor stressed that the "historic framework must be given a chance," indicating ongoing diplomatic considerations amid regional tensions.
