Israeli Police Uncover Over 200 Kg of Drugs Hidden in Chocolates at Hod Hasharon Nursery

Israeli police, guided by the drug-sniffing dog Sky, uncovered a major drug distribution network in the Sharon region. The special crime unit at Kfar Saba police station conducted a covert operation on Tuesday, raiding a nursery in Hod Hasharon that was used as a concealed warehouse and distribution center. During the search, officers seized more than 200 kilograms of marijuana and hashish. A significant portion of the drugs was hidden inside various food products, including chocolate bars, cookies, and candies, all packaged and ready for immediate distribution.

Four suspects from the central Israel area were arrested during the operation. Following the arrests, the police presented their findings to the court, which approved an extension of the suspects' detention until July 27, 2026, based on the investigation's evidence.
