Tel Aviv Police Close Roads Ahead of Pride Parade
Police closed multiple streets in Tel Aviv ahead of the city’s Pride Parade, which was set to begin later in the day. The closures were announced as part of traffic preparations for the event.
Among the blocked roads were Rokach Boulevard westbound from Ibn Gabirol; Yarkon Street southbound from Jabotinsky and northbound from Yossef Hilel to Y.L. Gordon; Herbert Samuel Street southbound from Shelag Street to Yechiel Kaufman Street, including the service road; and Yechiel Kaufman Street northbound from Eilat Street to Yossef Hilel.
Other closures included Nahum Goldman Street northbound from Eilat Street to Yossef Hilel, and also from Clock Square to Kaufman; Eilat Street westbound from Eliplet Street; Eliplet Street northbound from Shlomo Road; Shlomo Road westbound from Eliplet; Mappo Street from Yahoash to Yarkon; and Frishman, Trumpeldor, and Ness Ziona streets between Dizengoff, Ben Yehuda, Herbert Samuel, and Yarkon. Additional blocked streets were Geula, Nehemia, and the Carmelit, all between HaKovshim and Herbert Samuel or Yarkon.
