The US Embassy in Israel has issued an unusual security warning to American citizens following a surge in violence linked to conflicts between organized crime groups in Israel. The embassy's statement highlighted recent attacks targeting homes and businesses connected to the involved parties, particularly in Tel Aviv, Jaffa, and Herzliya. Some incidents involved the throwing of hand grenades or stun grenades at private residences, vehicles, and commercial properties, often by suspects riding motorcycles.

This warning comes amid ongoing clashes between the Mosli and Jarushi crime organizations, which have recently included grenade attacks on Japnika branches and luxury neighborhood homes. The embassy advised Americans in central Israel to remain vigilant near commercial areas in Tel Aviv, Jaffa, and Herzliya, especially during evening and nighttime hours. It also urged avoiding areas with police activity or checkpoints, following local law enforcement instructions, reporting suspicious behavior or objects immediately, reviewing personal security plans, staying aware of surroundings, maintaining contact with family and friends, and ensuring travel documents are current and accessible.

Israeli police have been conducting both overt and covert operations in recent days to prevent further violence. Authorities describe the situation as a conflict between groups with significant operational capabilities rather than isolated incidents.
