Slight Cooldown, But Heavy Heat Stress Expected in the Jordan Valley and Arava
Israel is headed into a typical summer pattern, with a slight drop in temperatures expected on Friday, especially inland. The weather will be mostly clear for much of the day, and the sea is forecast to be suitable for swimming, with water temperatures still relatively cool at 25 degrees.
Heat stress is expected to be moderate to medium across most of the country, but heavy in the Jordan Valley and the Arava. In the early morning hours, skies are expected to be partly cloudy, while during most of the day and in the evening they should be clear.
The forecast for the coming days shows little change. On Sunday and Monday, conditions are expected to remain stable, with no significant shift in temperatures. On Tuesday, temperatures are forecast to rise again, but they should still remain normal for the season.
