Slight Cooling Expected Today, With Severe Heat Stress in the Jordan Valley and Dead Sea

Today, Thursday, skies will be partly cloudy to clear, and temperatures will dip slightly, mainly in the hills and inland areas, where they will remain typical for the season. Solar radiation levels will be very high to extreme, and extreme heat stress is expected along the Dead Sea shore.

Heavy heat stress is forecast in the Beit She'an Valley, the Jordan Valley, and the Arava. Moderate heat stress is expected in the southern Golan and its slopes, the northern valleys, the Lower Galilee, the coastal plain, the northern Negev, the Judean Desert, and eastern Negev.
