Forecast: Slight Cooling, Extreme Heat Stress in the Dead Sea Area
Israel’s weather on Monday is expected to be partly cloudy at first, then clear, with a slight drop in temperatures, mainly in the mountains and inland areas. The Mediterranean Sea will be choppy, with wave heights of 50 to 80 centimeters, and the forecast UV radiation index is very high to extreme.
Extreme heat stress is expected in the Dead Sea area. Heavy heat stress is also forecast for the southern Golan Heights and its slopes, the Kinneret Valley, the Jordan Valley, and the Arava.
On Tuesday, skies are expected to be partly cloudy in the morning and then clear, with no notable change in temperatures. On Wednesday, temperatures are forecast to rise slightly, בעיקר in the mountains and inland areas, while Thursday will be partly cloudy to clear with another slight drop in temperatures.
