Israel Weather Forecast Predicts Slight Temperature Drop and Extreme Heat in Some Areas

Following the dispersal of morning clouds on Thursday, Israel will experience generally pleasant weather with a slight temperature decrease in the mountains and inland areas, bringing temperatures back to seasonal norms. The solar radiation index is expected to be very high to extreme, posing a significant sun exposure risk.

Extreme heat conditions are forecasted for the Dead Sea region, the Jordan Valley, and the Arava. Heavy heat stress is also expected in southern Golan Heights and its slopes, northern valleys, the Kinneret basin, the Judean Desert, and eastern Negev. The Mediterranean Sea will be rough, with wave heights ranging between 60 and 90 centimeters.

From Friday through Sunday, partly cloudy mornings are anticipated, followed by clear and pleasant weather during the day. No significant temperature changes are expected over the weekend. Specific temperature forecasts for Thursday night and day include Jerusalem at 17-29°C, Tel Aviv 24-30°C, Haifa 22-29°C, Safed 18-30°C, Katzrin 19-35°C, Tiberias 22-34°C, Nazareth 21-33°C, Afula 21-33°C, Beit She'an 25-37°C, Lod 22-31°C, Ashdod 22-30°C, Ein Gedi 26-37°C, Beersheba 21-33°C, Mitzpe Ramon 19-32°C, and Eilat 28-39°C.
