Israel Sees Cooling Temperatures Ahead of Sabbath Despite Severe Heat Warnings in Jordan Valley

Israel's weather forecast for the coming days, including the Sabbath, indicates a clearing of morning clouds followed by generally clear and pleasant conditions. Temperatures are expected to drop slightly, particularly in the mountainous regions and inland areas, reaching levels typical for this season. On Wednesday, after morning cloud dispersal, skies will clear with a mild temperature decrease. Thursday will see similar conditions with further slight cooling, mainly in the highlands. Friday's weather will remain mostly clear to partly cloudy with temperatures normal for the time of year. The Sabbath is expected to bring no significant weather changes.

Despite the overall cooling trend, the Israeli Meteorological Service issued a severe 'red warning' for extreme heat stress in the Jordan Valley. Additionally, 'orange warnings' have been declared for heat stress in the Beit She'an Valley, the Sea of Galilee basin, southern Judean Desert, the Dead Sea area, and northern Arava. These warnings highlight the risk of dangerous heat conditions in these regions.

Temperature forecasts for Wednesday include Jerusalem at 18-28°C, Tel Aviv 24-28°C, Beersheba 20-32°C, Haifa 23-28°C, Tiberias 22-34°C, Safed 17-27°C, and Eilat 25-37°C. Residents in affected areas are advised to take precautions against heat-related health risks.
