Forecast: Seasonal Temperatures, Heavy Heat Stress in the Dead Sea, Jordan Valley and Arava
Friday’s weather is expected to be partly cloudy to clear, with temperatures typical for the season. The day’s maximum solar radiation index is forecast to be very high to extreme, and heavy heat stress is expected along the Dead Sea coast, in the Jordan Valley and in the Arava.
Moderate heat stress is forecast in the southern Golan Heights, the northern valleys, the Lower Galilee, the Sea of Galilee basin, the coastal plain, the Judean Desert and eastern Negev. Saturday is expected to be partly cloudy to clear as well, with no unusual change in temperatures.
The outlook for Sunday and Monday remains similar, with little or no change in temperatures.
