Forecast Calls for No Major Change, Severe Heat Stress in the Dead Sea and Arava
Temperatures on Saturday will remain typical for the season, with little change from Friday. Skies will be partly cloudy to clear during the day and overnight. The Mediterranean Sea will be choppy, with waves of 60 to 80 centimeters, and severe heat stress is expected in the Dead Sea area, the Jordan Valley and the Arava. The sun exposure index for today is forecast to be very high to extreme.
On Sunday, conditions are also expected to stay clear to partly cloudy, with no notable change in temperatures. Light drizzle may appear in the north during the morning. Monday should be partly cloudy as well, again without significant temperature changes, and morning drizzle may affect the north and the coastal plain.
A slight warming trend is forecast for Tuesday, when skies will be partly cloudy to clear, especially in the mountains and inland areas.
