Legendary Israeli Band The Sixteenth Sheep Concludes Reunion Tour After Historic Comeback

The iconic Israeli band The Sixteenth Sheep announced the final shows of their reunion tour after performing dozens of concerts to over 200,000 fans. The last six performances will take place in Tel Aviv and Caesarea, with four shows scheduled from September 29 to October 2 at the Tel Aviv Culture Hall, and two more on October 14 and 15 at the Caesarea Amphitheater. Ticket sales for these final concerts began on July 21 at 4 p.m. via the Zappa website.

The reunion began in winter 2025 with just five shows featuring songs from their acclaimed album "Childhood" alongside solo hits from band members Yehudit Ravitz, Gidi Gov, Yoni Rechter, and David Broza. The initial shows sold out rapidly, with 25,000 tickets snapped up within minutes, causing website crashes and prompting the addition of multiple extra performances due to overwhelming demand.

In an interview with Channel 12 News nearly a year after reuniting, Yehudit Ravitz expressed that she anticipated the success and pushed to start the tour earlier amid the ongoing Gaza war and national distress. She emphasized the emotional impact of the concerts, describing them as a "tribal campfire" experience that united the nation during difficult times. The tour also marked Ravitz's return to performing after a hiatus since 2016, which she had taken due to stage fright.

The band’s reunion has been widely seen as a cultural phenomenon, providing solace and unity to Israeli audiences during a challenging period. The final shows are expected to draw large crowds eager to witness the closing chapter of this historic comeback.
