Grenade Explodes Near Luxury Home in North Tel Aviv Amid Crime Family Feud

A grenade exploded near a private residence in the upscale Tzahala neighborhood of northern Tel Aviv during the night between Saturday and Sunday. Police suspect a stun grenade was thrown at the location, but no injuries or damage were reported. Authorities are investigating whether the incident is linked to the ongoing violent conflict between the Jerushi and Mousli crime families.

The Tel Aviv North police station, along with bomb disposal experts from the Tel Aviv district, responded to the scene after receiving reports of the explosion. Initial findings suggest the event was criminal in nature. This attack follows a series of violent incidents in recent days, including grenade attacks, arson, and assaults targeting individuals associated with these crime families.

The conflict has also affected businesses, notably the Japanika restaurant chain, which recently experienced grenade attacks and arson at several branches. The chain's owner, Barak Abramov, publicly denied any criminal ties in an interview, challenging police to arrest him if they suspect any involvement with the Jerushi, Mousli, or other crime families. Abramov admitted to only superficial acquaintance with some crime family members but denied any business connections.

Police continue to investigate the explosion as part of the broader escalation in organized crime violence in the area.
