Police Investigate Suspected Stun Grenade Attacks in Ramat Hasharon and North Tel Aviv

During the night between Sunday and Monday, police in the Tel Aviv district launched an investigation following two separate incidents involving the suspected throwing of stun grenades in residential areas of Ramat Hasharon and northern Tel Aviv. The first explosion was reported near a building courtyard in central Ramat Hasharon. Officers from the Glilot station and bomb disposal experts arrived at the scene to collect evidence. Initial findings suggest the device was an Israeli military stun grenade. No injuries or property damage were reported.

Simultaneously, another explosion was heard near a residential building in the Kochav HaTzafon neighborhood of Tel Aviv. Police and bomb squad personnel responded promptly, gathering evidence and confirming the device was likely a stun grenade thrown for criminal reasons. Again, no casualties or damage occurred.

Authorities have stated that the incidents are criminal in nature and are examining possible links to the "Jafnika" case, a separate ongoing investigation. The police continue to probe the circumstances surrounding both events to identify those responsible.
