Grenade Explosion in Luxury North Tel Aviv Neighborhood Linked to Crime Family Feud

A grenade exploded near a private home in the upscale Tzahala neighborhood of northern Tel Aviv during the night between Saturday and Sunday, prompting a police investigation. Authorities suspect a stun grenade was thrown at the location, but no injuries or damage were reported. The incident is believed to be connected to the ongoing violent conflict between the Jerushi and Musli crime families.

Police from the Tel Aviv North station and bomb disposal experts arrived at the scene to collect evidence and investigate the circumstances. The explosion is one of several recent violent acts, including grenade attacks, arson, and assaults, targeting individuals linked to these crime organizations.

This week, the Japnika restaurant chain was also targeted with grenade attacks and arson at multiple branches. The chain's owner, Barak Abramov, publicly denied any business ties to the Jerushi or Musli families in an interview, challenging the police to arrest him if they suspect otherwise. He acknowledged only superficial acquaintance with some crime family members but denied any deeper connections.

The police continue to examine whether the grenade attack in Tzahala is part of the escalating feud between these crime groups, which has caused a series of violent incidents across the city.
