Grenade Explosion Rocks Luxury North Tel Aviv Neighborhood, Causes Minor Damage
A powerful explosion was heard late Wednesday night in the upscale Park Tzameret neighborhood of northern Tel Aviv after a grenade was thrown at a residential tower. The blast was audible across the area, including in nearby Ramat Gan, and caused minor damage to the entrance of one of the buildings. A local resident told ynet the explosion was strong but did not sound like a typical fall or grenade detonation, noting it was not close but still clearly heard.
The Tel Aviv District Police have launched an investigation into the grenade attack. Authorities confirmed no injuries occurred, but a window in the building sustained light damage. Officers from the Lev Tel Aviv station and bomb disposal experts arrived at the scene to collect evidence and conduct inquiries. Police suspect the incident was criminal in nature.
