A grenade explosion in the upscale "Blue" residential complex in northern Tel Aviv has alarmed residents, including prominent businessmen and celebrities such as singer Noa Kirel. Around 11 p.m. on Saturday night, a masked individual breached the complex's tight security, which includes guards and intercom systems, and threw a fragmentation grenade that detonated in the building's lobby. The blast caused damage to the entrance but miraculously resulted in no injuries.

Residents expressed shock and fear, with one stating they purchased their apartment seeking peace and quality of life but now worry about becoming victims of organized crime disputes. Police are investigating the incident, collecting evidence and reviewing security footage to track the suspect's escape route. Just two weeks prior, a dramatic assassination attempt was caught on security cameras in the nearby Gush HaGadol neighborhood, where a hitman on a motorcycle fired multiple shots at a known criminal riding an electric scooter, injuring him moderately. Police in the Tel Aviv district continue to investigate these violent incidents, describing them as isolated events currently under control.
