Israeli Supreme Court Temporarily Freezes Parts of Communications Law Over Legislative Concerns

The Israeli Supreme Court issued a temporary injunction against parts of the new Communications Law. The ruling, delivered by Justice Ofer Groskopf, highlighted serious concerns regarding both the legislative process of the law and specific provisions that were enacted or repealed under it. Groskopf emphasized the risk that once these parts come into effect, it might be difficult to reverse the changes, stating there is a "fear that it will be hard to turn back the clock."
