Maccabi Haifa Plans to Sign Four New Players Ahead of Upcoming Season

Maccabi Haifa has been active this summer, securing key signings including Bruninho from Karpaty Lviv and Yair Mordechai, who had a strong season with Hapoel Kiryat Shmona. The club also recalled several loaned players such as Yarin Levi, Iyad Khalili, Itay Ehud, and Amit Arzi, although Arzi is currently injured. Despite these additions, Haifa is far from finished strengthening its squad.

The club is expected to add four more players: Omri Glazer is close to finalizing a deal, two defenders are set to join, and a foreign striker will be signed at the expense of Tribenta Stewart, who is no longer in the club's professional plans and may be loaned out if no attractive offers arrive. A final decision regarding Pedro is still pending, but another foreign center-back will be brought in regardless. Emmanuel Iyo, a defender from Sturm Graz, is among the candidates. The left-back position is also likely to be reinforced after the professional manager Lior Rafaelov informed Daniel Golani that he is not in the plans, and Pierre Cornu is not expected to return before 2027.

Meanwhile, Dolev Haziza is attracting interest from Maccabi Netanya, which currently offers the most attractive contract in Israel. Haziza is also exploring options abroad but is expected to play in Israel for Netanya if he stays in the country.
