IDF Kills Three Armed Hezbollah Militants in Southern Lebanon Near Security Zone

On Wednesday evening, Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) killed three armed Hezbollah militants in the security zone near Beit Yahoun in southern Lebanon. The militants were spotted carrying combat equipment close to IDF forces operating in the area. The operation was carried out by troops from Brigade 401 under the command of Division 91, following identification by reconnaissance soldiers from the 869th Battalion. The IDF stated that the militants posed an immediate threat to their forces, and the strike was intended to neutralize this danger and maintain freedom of movement in the region. This action is part of a series of offensive measures by the IDF aimed at preventing Hezbollah from reestablishing a foothold along the northern border. The military emphasized that efforts to remove threats along the northern border will continue.
