Israeli Winger Anan Khalaily Faces Crucial Heart Test Ahead of Inter Milan Transfer

Israeli winger Anan Khalaily has arrived in Milan to finalize his transfer to Inter Milan but must undergo a critical additional echocardiogram test. This heart examination, scheduled for Monday or Tuesday, is mandatory under strict Italian regulations and will determine whether the transfer proceeds. If Khalaily passes the test, he will sign with Inter; if not, the club will have to abandon the deal.

Local media have drawn parallels to Antonio Cassano's 2011 case, where Cassano was allowed to continue playing for AC Milan after heart surgery. However, Khalaily's condition still requires thorough evaluation, and there is concern that the results may not provide the necessary medical clearance.

Inter Milan currently faces a shortage at the right-back position following Denzel Dumfries' move to Real Madrid. Khalaily was expected to fill this gap, especially after another target, Marco Fara, chose to join Chelsea.
