Family Charged in Brutal Murder and Evidence Tampering on Coastal Highway
The Israeli prosecution has filed charges against four family members from Hadera for their involvement in the murder of Yoav Gilboa, 53, on Highway 2 near Maagan Michael about a month ago. Emil Avshaib, 46, a former prisoner, is accused of intentionally murdering Gilboa under aggravating circumstances by stabbing him at least 59 times across his body. His brother-in-law, Ruslan Abramov, 36, is charged with arson and obstructing justice for setting fire to the victim's body to destroy evidence. Additionally, Avshaib's son, David Avshaib, 22, and his sister, Ela, 47, who is Abramov's partner, face charges of obstructing justice. The family members reportedly cleaned the interior of the vehicle used in the murder with wipes to remove bloodstains, further attempting to conceal their crime.
