Rescue Teams Search for Teen Swept Away at Unsupervised Palmachim Beach
On Wednesday at 17:15, emergency services received a report of three teenagers swept away by the sea at an unsupervised beach near Palmachim. Paramedics rescued two boys, approximately 15 years old, who did not require medical treatment. However, the third teenager remains missing, prompting ongoing search efforts.
Fire and rescue units from the Lahav unit and other teams from the Central District were deployed to the scene, conducting searches along the beach using specialized equipment. The Israel Police, including officers from Yavne station, joined the operation with dozens of officers, volunteers, local authority personnel, and emergency responders. They are conducting extensive searches both on land and at sea, supported by a helicopter.
