IDF Kills Terrorist Who Held Israeli Hostage Rom Breslavski in Gaza
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) eliminated Talal Jaber Muhammad Abd Al-Aal, a commander in the Islamic Jihad group responsible for holding Israeli hostage Rom Breslavski in Gaza. Breslavski, who survived captivity, responded on social media, condemning Abd Al-Aal as the person who ordered and personally inflicted severe abuse on him during his imprisonment. Breslavski described how Abd Al-Aal, weighing about 100 kilograms, physically assaulted him, including jumping on his neck while he was malnourished and spitting into his mouth while he was bound and injured.
According to the IDF, Abd Al-Aal led a terrorist cell that infiltrated Israeli territory and participated in the October 7 massacre. Throughout the conflict, he was involved in holding hostages, including Breslavski. The IDF operation that killed Abd Al-Aal took place two days prior in southern Gaza. Breslavski emphasized that Abd Al-Aal's orders and direct actions nearly caused his death multiple times. He concluded his statement with a defiant message referencing a threat Abd Al-Aal made toward Israeli security forces, saying, "Enjoy hell, you scoundrel."
