A new official Lego Store is set to open its doors this Thursday, October 15, at the Ofer the Grand Mall in Petah Tikva. This marks the 11th store in Israel for the Danish brand, operated by TOR GROUP, which began its Israeli expansion in 2022 with the opening of its first store at Dizengoff Center. The company has noted a significant and consistent demand for Lego products in Israel, often leading to empty shelves.
The new Petah Tikva store will span approximately 200 square meters in the mall's central avenue. It aims to offer the widest selection of Lego products available in Israel, including exclusive sets only sold in official stores. The store is designed as an experiential complex, featuring interactive displays, 3D Lego models, and play areas for all ages. It will also include personalized building stations: Build a Minifigure for custom minifigure creation and Pick a Brick for selecting individual bricks by color and shape.
Eran Thor, founder and chairman of TOR GROUP, described the opening as a response to "immense excitement" from Lego fans in Israel, including children, families, and collectors. He stated the new store will serve residents of the Ono Valley in addition to Petah Tikva. Millions of visitors have reportedly passed through Lego Stores in Israel in recent years.
Naomi Siman-Tov, CEO of Ofer the Grand Mall, expressed that the Lego brand's presence enhances the shopping experience for families and fans. She added that Melisron, the group operating the Ofer malls, is committed to bringing leading global brands to its properties.
Attendees at the October 15th opening can join the Lego VIP Club for special benefits and will receive a gift with purchase, valid only on opening day.
