Tor Group announced the grand opening of LEGO's 11th and largest official store in Israel, located at Ofer the Grand Mall in Petah Tikva. The new 200-square-meter store, set to open on Thursday, October 15, will feature the widest selection of LEGO products available in the country, including exclusive sets, 3D models, interactive displays, and personalized minifigure building stations. Special benefits and a gift will be offered to new members of the LEGO VIP CLUB on the opening day.
Eran Thor, founder and chairman of Tor Group, expressed excitement about the expansion, noting the "inspiring enthusiasm" of Israeli LEGO fans and the joy the new store will bring to families and collectors in Petah Tikva and the Ono Valley region. Naomi Siman-Tov, CEO of Ofer the Grand Mall, highlighted LEGO's ability to foster creativity and imagination, stating the store's addition aligns with the mall's commitment to innovation and retail excellence.
The LEGO Store Israel currently operates 10 branches, comprising 9 certified stores and one pop-up location, with existing stores in Tel Aviv, Givatayim, Rishon LeZion, Herzliya, Ashdod, Kiryat Ata, Eilat, and Be'er Sheva. LEGO products are also available nationwide in approximately 90 Shufersal locations and other toy and electronics retailers.
The opening also serves as an opportunity to honor the memory of Sgt. Major Netta Baram, who fell on October 7th. Three years after his death, his family and friends continue to fulfill his last wish to "keep collecting and building LEGO for me." Baram, a dedicated LEGO collector, was a team commander of observation balloons at the Nachal Oz outpost during the Hamas attack. His final message to his family, sent during the intense battle, included this poignant request. The new store in Petah Tikva provides a chance for residents to participate in commemorating his legacy through the hobby he loved.
