El Al announced on Thursday that it is suspending flights to Moscow for the coming days, citing recent aviation-related incidents in the area. The airline said the move comes because of developments between Russia and Ukraine and the latest events affecting air traffic in the region.
In its statement, El Al said it is forced to pause service on the Tel Aviv-Moscow route for the next few days. The company added that it will conduct a fresh situation assessment during the coming week and then decide whether to resume the route.
Passengers will be informed of any changes, and the airline said they will be offered different options in accordance with the law.
