Reservist IDF Sergeant Major Bassel Sued Killed in Army Fuel Truck Rollover in Southern Lebanon
The IDF said Wednesday that it has cleared for publication the name of reservist Master Sgt. Bassel Sued, 32, of Peki'in, who was killed the day before in an operational accident in southern Lebanon. Sued served as a driver in Battalion 75 of the “Sa’ar Magolan” Formation, part of Brigade 7.
According to the military, he died when a military fuel truck overturned. Another IDF fighter was moderately wounded in the same accident. The injured soldier was evacuated to a hospital for treatment, and the soldier’s family was notified.
The army gave no further details about the circumstances of the rollover.
