IDF Reservist Bassel Sueid Killed in Operational Activity in Southern Lebanon
The IDF announced that Master Sgt. (res.) Bassel Sueid, 32, from Peki'in, was killed during operational activity in southern Lebanon. Sueid served as a driver in Battalion 75.
In the same incident, another IDF soldier was moderately wounded. The injured soldier was evacuated to a hospital for medical treatment, and his family was notified.
The military statement did not provide further details about the circumstances of the incident. The announcement came as the IDF chief of staff was in southern Lebanon with commanders of maneuvering brigades.
