Israelis Evacuated From Flydubai Flight Undergo Medical Checks After Incident

MADA (Israel's National Emergency Medical, Disaster and Blood Services Authority) personnel conducted an immediate medical assessment of Israeli passengers aboard a Flydubai flight who experienced an onboard incident. MADA reported that no passengers required urgent medical attention. The flight carried 30 children among its passengers. Following the initial assessment, one passenger was hospitalized at Assaf Harofeh Medical Center with a chest injury.

The Israelis had boarded the Flydubai plane, which was en route to Saudi Arabia for their evacuation. The Mossad had completed its vetting of the flight crew, clearing the aircraft for departure. Simultaneously, an investigation is examining potential links between a suspect and Iran, though no confirming evidence has emerged.

The evacuation flight, escorted by Israeli Air Force fighter jets, entered Israeli airspace and has since landed safely. Earlier reports detailed passenger Tzvi Mans' account of the incident, where he described how passengers subdued the co-pilot using headphone wires. Mans' wife first raised the alarm after hearing shouts from the cockpit.

Authorities in Israel are investigating how the Flydubai crew obtained flight clearance and the security procedures they underwent prior to departure. The Mossad has joined the investigation into the incident. Additionally, a review is underway to determine if current security requirements align with protocols for flights between Israel and the UAE.
