Police Raid Residential Areas in Kiryat Haim and Kiryat Shmuel, Discovering Drug Labs and Seizing Large Quantities of Narcotics

Israeli police have conducted raids in the cities of Kiryat Haim and Kiryat Shmuel, uncovering significant drug operations within residential neighborhoods. In Kiryat Haim, officers discovered a hydroponic marijuana cultivation lab in a private home, containing approximately 300 cannabis plants weighing over 60 kilograms. This operation was part of a larger effort by the Zevulun station detectives in the "Asher" region to target illegal drug activities.

In a separate but related operation in Kiryat Shmuel, police found a substantial quantity of various drugs suspected for distribution in another private residence. This seizure included hundreds of grams of crystal meth and MDMA, over a kilogram of hashish, ecstasy pills, and electronic scales. The police described these findings as a commercial amount of narcotics.

As a result of these two raids, two suspects were arrested and are currently under investigation. The police stated that these operations were a "double ambush" aimed at dismantling illegal drug holding and distribution centers. The discoveries highlight the ongoing efforts by Israeli law enforcement to combat drug trafficking, even within civilian areas.
