Massive Drug Haul Seized in Petah Tikva Apartment, Resident Arrested

Police in Petah Tikva, central Israel, have uncovered a residential apartment suspected of serving as a hub for storing, preparing, and distributing dangerous drugs. The discovery was made during an operation by the Israel Police's Sharon district detectives as part of their ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking.

During a search of the apartment, officers found over 40 kilograms of substances believed to be various types of drugs, including cocaine, MDMA, ecstasy tablets, and cannabis. The seized items were transferred to forensic laboratories for further analysis.

Following the search, a Petah Tikva resident in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of possessing the drugs. The suspect appeared before the Petah Tikva Magistrate's Court, which extended his detention until September 29, 2026, to allow for continued investigation.
