Beitar Jerusalem has begun negotiations with midfielder Dan Glazer as it continues building for next season, according to a report published on June 23, 2026. The club had already added Daniel Warke and Noam Mutzah earlier in the year, and brought in Tomer Yosefi and Eugene Ansah during the summer, but Glazer is now its main transfer target.
Glazer, 29, is expected to arrive on a free transfer from Kairat, where his contract runs until December. There are still financial gaps between the sides, but the assessment around the club is that the differences will eventually be bridged. If he signs, he would become Beitar’s fifth summer signing.
His arrival could also affect the rest of the squad. Beitar may then move for a foreign striker and could definitively release midfielder Aylson Tavares.
Meanwhile, the club is increasing training intensity ahead of its July training camp. In less than a month, Beitar will also play the so-called “European teams game,” the Toto Cup quarterfinal against Hapoel Tel Aviv.
There was also encouraging news about Adi Yona, who is still training only partially. The club hopes he will be able to raise his workload by the time the camp begins so he will be fit for next season.
