Groom-to-Be Arrested Days Before Wedding on Gun Possession Charges

Police recently arrested a 23-year-old man from the town of Zarzir on suspicion of possessing a handgun and ammunition. The arrest occurred during a field operation where officers stopped his vehicle for inspection after it aroused their suspicion. The driver attempted to evade the checkpoint, increasing his speed, which prompted police to take measures to stop him.
