Ofir Sarid, CEO of Melisron, Dies at 54
Ofir Sarid, who until last week headed the real estate company Melisron, has died at the age of 54. Sarid served as the CEO of the income-producing real estate firm and as chairman of its subsidiary Aviv Melisron. He is survived by his wife and three children.
Melisron announced Sarid's passing with deep sorrow, stating, "Melisron bows its head and announces with a heavy heart and great sadness the untimely death." The company added that Sarid was a "beloved and respected manager by the company's board of directors, management, and employees, who are deeply pained by his departure."
Sarid had taken a medical leave of absence earlier this month due to health reasons. Last week, Melisron announced that he was concluding his role because of these medical circumstances and that the company had begun the process of searching for a new CEO.
