Melisron CEO Ofir Sarid Departs Amidst Medical Leave
Melisron, a major Israeli income-producing real estate company, announced that its CEO, Ofir Sarid, has concluded his tenure with the company, effective immediately. The decision comes as Sarid was on medical leave due to health reasons. The company has initiated a search for a new CEO.
Oren Hilinger, the company's CFO, will continue to serve as interim CEO until a permanent replacement is appointed. Sarid, 55, had led Melisron since 2019, succeeding Avi Levi. Prior to his CEO role, Sarid served as the company's CFO.
Melisron, controlled by Liora Ofer, is the second-largest income-producing real estate firm in Israel, trailing only Azrieli Group. The company is currently valued at NIS 18.56 billion. Under Sarid's leadership, the company's stock nearly doubled over the past three years, though it has seen a 4.6% decline since the beginning of the current year, trading at NIS 389.2 per share.
In the second quarter of 2026, Melisron reported significant growth, including an approximately 11% increase in tenant revenues across its malls. This growth was attributed to enhancements in mall offerings and visibility at its Kiryon and Rehovot malls, along with the completion of the third floor at its Ramat Aviv mall. The company also noted a rise in real rental income, increased apartment sales, and progress in marketing its development projects.
