Ronal Bibi Appointed CEO of Ofek Holdings After Five Years at Metropolis
Ofek Holdings announced on Tuesday the appointment of Adv. Ronal Bibi as its new CEO. Bibi joins Ofek Holdings after serving for the past five years as the Vice President of Business Development at Metropolis, a company active in urban renewal.
Bibi will succeed Daniel Ofek, who is transitioning to the role of Co-Chairman of the company alongside his father, Kobi Ofek. Ofek Holdings has been involved in entrepreneurship and construction for approximately three decades, with a recent focus on urban renewal projects. The company currently manages a portfolio of thousands of housing units across 80 projects, in addition to 16 completed projects and 10 currently under construction. Its operations span cities including Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, Ramat Hasharon, Herzliya, and Netanya.
The company also owns a contracting firm with an unlimited classification and a foreign worker corporation. Bibi holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) from Bar-Ilan University and completed a management training program at Reichman University.
In a statement, Ofek Holdings highlighted Bibi's experience at Metropolis, describing it as one of Israel's leading urban renewal firms. Daniel Ofek stated that the company is experiencing significant growth and that Bibi's appointment is a strategic move to accelerate business development and strengthen their entrepreneurship and execution capabilities.
Bibi expressed his enthusiasm for the new role, aiming to expand Ofek Holdings' activities in real estate entrepreneurship and urban renewal to solidify its position as a leading company in Israel. He thanked Kobi and Daniel Ofek for their trust and also acknowledged his former colleagues at Metropolis.
