Ofir Sarid, Former CEO of Melisron, Dies at 54
Ofir Sarid, who until two weeks ago served as the CEO of Melisron, passed away on Sunday from a serious illness that was diagnosed only three weeks prior. Sarid was 54 years old and is survived by his wife and three children.
Sarid joined Melisron in 2011, initially serving as the company's CFO, where he was responsible for its financial and business operations. Approximately eight years later, in October 2019, he was appointed CEO.
On September 2nd, Melisron announced Sarid's leave of absence due to medical reasons. Following a deterioration in his condition, the company announced last week the termination of his role. Oren Hellinger, the company's CFO, has been appointed acting CEO while Melisron begins the search for a permanent replacement.
Melisron stated, "The board of directors, management, and employees of the company mourn his untimely passing. As a leading, innovative, and professional CEO, Ofir resolutely and consistently led Melisron to growth and made a significant contribution to establishing its position as a leading company in the real estate market."
