  • Yohananof supermarket chain enters iPhone 18 price war.
  • iPhone 18 Pro Max offered for 5,250 shekels.
  • Competition intensifies among Israeli retailers for new iPhones.
  • AirPods 4 also available at Yohananof for 369 shekels.
  • Sales limited to one iPhone per customer.

The price war in Israel's mobile market has expanded from electronics chains to supermarkets, as major food retailers intensify competition. Following "Osher Ad," "Victory," and "Shufersal" in offering special prices on the new iPhone 18, the "Yohananof" supermarket chain, owned by businessman Eitan Yohananof, announced its entry into the competition on Monday. The "Rami Levy Stock" chain is also set to begin selling the iPhone 18.

Yohananof is offering the top-tier iPhone 18 Pro Max with 256GB of storage, eSIM capability, and immediate availability in blue, silver, and black, for 5,250 shekels. This makes Yohananof the only supermarket chain currently selling this flagship model. The devices are international versions supporting eSIM only, which connects directly to compatible cellular networks in Israel. All phones are new, in original packaging, unactivated, and come with a nationwide warranty and service through DCS labs.

The phones will be available at Yohananof branches in Haifa, Modi'in, Jerusalem, Ramat HaSharon, Tel Aviv, Bat Yam, Rehovot, Ashkelon, Hadera, and Holon, with a limit of one device per person. Additionally, Yohananof has begun selling the new AirPods 4 for 369 shekels.

For comparison, "Victory" is selling the iPhone 18 for 4,399 shekels, "Osher Ad" for 4,490 shekels, and "Shufersal" is offering the iPhone 18 Pro for 5,199 shekels. Yohananof's price for the iPhone 18 Pro Max is 5,250 shekels.
