Israeli Supermarkets Join Fierce iPhone 18 Price War

The price war in Israel's mobile market has officially expanded from electronics chains to supermarket shelves, as major food retailers escalate competition. Following recent moves by "Osher Ad" and "Shufersal" to offer the iPhone 18 at special prices, the "Victory" supermarket chain, owned by Eyal Ravid, has now joined the fray.

Victory announced it would sell the iPhone 18 for NIS 4,399, limiting purchases to one device per customer. Eyal Ravid stated his team promised customers the lowest price in Israel and secured an initial stock of approximately 1,000 units. The discounted phones will be available in specific branches across Israel, including Bat Yam, Ramat Gan, Netivot, and Ashdod, starting Sunday afternoon.

This move intensifies the competition, with Shufersal offering the iPhone 18 Pro (256GB) online for NIS 5,199 with free home delivery. Osher Ad had previously sold a parallel import model for NIS 4,490. Shufersal's offering is from the official Apple importer in Israel, providing a full importer's warranty, which explains the price difference.

"Rami Levy Stock" is also expected to begin selling the iPhone 18 in its branches soon. In addition to iPhones, Shufersal is also offering new Apple Watches on its website.
