iPhone 18 Sales Launch in Israel With Prices Starting at 5449 Shekels

Apple's new generation of smartphones, the iPhone 18 lineup, has officially gone on sale in Israel. Following the pre-order period, retailers and mobile operators have begun full-scale sales across the country. However, the highly anticipated iPhone Duo, featuring a foldable screen, is not yet available. Pre-orders for the Duo are set to open on October 16th, with its official release expected on October 23rd.

The standard iPhone 18 models start at 5,449 shekels for the 256-gigabyte version. The top-tier model with two terabytes of storage is priced at 10,749 shekels.

In related news, Apple has updated its iCloud+ service for Israeli users, integrating entertainment features into the subscription package. This international expansion now includes over 100 countries. The enhanced iCloud+ combines cloud storage with access to Apple TV+ original films and series, as well as Apple Arcade, which offers over 200 ad-free games. Additionally, Apple Music Select provides curated radio stations and music collections.

These new entertainment services are accessible through existing Apple device settings, eliminating the need for separate subscriptions. Apple's Senior Vice President, Eddy Cue, stated that the integration aims to simplify user access to the company's various services under a single subscription. The existing iCloud+ features, such as privacy protection and Family Sharing for up to five members, remain available.
