IDF Eliminates Hamas Sniper in Southern Gaza
The Israeli military announced it conducted an airstrike in southern Gaza on Tuesday, eliminating a sniper belonging to Hamas's military wing. The slain militant was identified as Adi Adli Abd Ala'azar.
According to the IDF, Ala'azar had recently been developing terror plots against Israeli forces and civilians. He was also actively involved in rebuilding the organization's capabilities in southern Gaza, systematically violating the ceasefire, the military stated.
The targeted strike was carried out to neutralize an immediate threat posed by the militant's activities to forces operating in the area, an IDF spokesperson said. The military released footage of the operation.
