Toddler Suffers Severe Head Injury in Jerusalem Toy Ride Accident
A three-year-old boy sustained a severe head injury on Sunday while riding a toy "bimba" (a ride-on toy car) in Jerusalem. Emergency medical services, including paramedics and senior EMTs from Magen David Adom (MDA), responded to the scene on Avraham Idelson Street.
Upon arrival, MDA personnel provided immediate medical treatment to the child, who was conscious but suffering from a significant head wound. He was then transported by an MDA intensive care ambulance to Shaare Zedek Medical Center.
"We saw the child lying on the floor, conscious and suffering from a significant head injury," said senior MDA EMT Binyamin Mendelson. "We provided him with life-saving medical treatment and evacuated him in an MDA intensive care unit to the hospital, his condition serious."
