Defense Minister Eulogizes Two Reserve Soldiers Killed in Gaza
Defense Minister Israel Katz on Thursday eulogized two reserve soldiers, Staff Sergeant (Res.) Nadav Kali, 24, from Har Halutz, and Staff Sergeant (Res.) Ofek Moalem, 23, from Jerusalem, who were killed in the Gaza Strip. Both soldiers served in the 7007th Battalion of the 16th Brigade.
Speaking ahead of the Sukkot holiday, Katz described the news of their deaths as "difficult and painful." He noted that as the nation prepared for the holiday, two families were facing "the worst possible." The Defense Minister extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families on behalf of the entire defense establishment.
"I wish to embrace and send heartfelt condolences to their families. May the memory of Nadav and Ofek be blessed," Katz stated.
