Two Israeli Soldiers Killed in Gaza Combat Identified

The names of two Israel Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers who fell in combat in the Gaza Strip have been cleared for publication. Sergeant Major (Res.) Nadav Kli, 24, from Har Halutz, and Sergeant Major (Res.) Ofek Moalem, 23, from Jerusalem, were killed after their families were notified.
Both soldiers served in the 7007th Battalion of the 16th Brigade. Their deaths bring the total number of IDF soldiers killed since the start of the ground operation in Gaza to 14.
