Joseph Ben-David, Killer of Teenager Muhammad Abu Khdeir, Dies
Joseph Ben-David, the primary suspect in the murder of teenager Muhammad Abu Khdeir, has died. He passed away after being evacuated from prison to a hospital, where his death was pronounced.
In July 2014, following the abduction and murder of three Israeli teenagers, Naftali Fraenkel, Gil-ad Shaar, and Eyal Yifrah, Ben-David and two accomplices kidnapped and murdered 16-year-old Muhammad Abu Khdeir. The day prior to this attack, Ben-David and his associates attempted to abduct a seven-year-old child who was walking with his mother and two siblings in the Beit Hanina neighborhood.
Ben-David was considered the central figure in the Abu Khdeir murder case.
