IDF Demolishes Home of Terrorist Who Murdered Israeli Man
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) demolished the home of terrorist Duas Hassoun in the village of Beit Ummar, near the Samaria Brigade area, overnight Wednesday. The demolition was carried out by soldiers from the Yahalom engineering unit and the Nahal Brigade's reconnaissance unit.
Hassoun carried out a deadly attack in March, murdering Yehuda Sherman. The incident occurred on March 21 near Homesh when Hassoun, driving a pickup truck, deliberately rammed a vehicle carrying three Israelis. The rammed vehicle, driven by Sherman, veered off the road and fell into a ravine, killing Sherman instantly and injuring another Israeli.
Following the demolition, the IDF stated that security forces will continue to operate proactively and offensively throughout Judea and Samaria to thwart terrorism and deter terrorists targeting Israeli civilians. Yehuda Sherman, who was 21 years old, is survived by his parents and six siblings. His brother Daniel was moderately injured in the attack.
