Family of Murdered Israeli Calls for Swift Demolition of Terrorist's Home in West Bank
More than three months after the murder of Yehuda Shmuel Sherman near the Shuva Israel farm in the West Bank, his family is urging Israeli authorities to expedite the demolition of the terrorist's home. Yehuda was killed in a vehicular attack carried out by Duas Hasson, whose house is located in the nearby village of Beit Umarin, approximately a 10-minute drive from the attack site. Yehoshua Sherman, Yehuda's father, and his son Daniel have appealed to law enforcement and security agencies to accelerate the legal process and carry out the demolition promptly, emphasizing its importance as a deterrent against future attacks.
The family noted that during a recent security operation at Hasson's home, weapons belonging to his son were found, who was also arrested. Over a month ago, an indictment was filed against Duas Hasson, charging him with intentional murder for the March 21 attack. According to the indictment, Hasson learned that Israeli civilians were traveling toward his village, waited near the road in his pickup truck, and deliberately rammed the rear of their vehicle near a steep cliff. The impact caused the vehicle to roll down the slope, resulting in Yehuda Sherman's death and injuries to another passenger. Hasson faces charges including intentional murder, attempted murder of two others, obstruction of justice, and illegal weapons possession.
