Haifa Inspector's Vulgar Outburst During Confrontation With Motorcyclist Caught on Video

A heated exchange between a Haifa municipality inspector and a motorcyclist, which occurred recently in the city's Ziv Center, was captured on video and circulated online. The incident began after a delivery rider slipped on an oil slick on the road. Bystanders attempted to prevent further accidents by spreading sand on the slick and placing a motorcycle to block the area. The inspector, however, demanded that the motorcycle be removed, threatening to issue tickets. When the rider mentioned he would contact a friend in the municipality to explain the situation, the inspector responded with a vulgar remark, "He can get into my ass." The Haifa Municipality stated that there are discrepancies between the accounts of the incident and that the matter will be investigated. The inspector will be summoned for a clarification hearing to examine the circumstances and how the situation was handled. The municipality added that it takes any allegation of inappropriate conduct by a municipal employee very seriously.
